14th May 2004 - "Ahoy there me hearties!!"
A little later than we'd anticipated, and despite those little gremlins that appear in the works of every new project, "Learning Ahoy" is at last ready to set sail!
As you will discover when you browse our site, it is basically a resource for teachers offering you options for the planning of school field trips which have been specifically designed with the new curriculum review in mind.
We have been extremely fortunate in the team of educational consultants and web designers whose knowledge and skills have helped us bring you this resource and we hope that you will try out our unique learning experience and that your pupils will benefit greatly from it.
If you have any questions, suggestions or criticisms we shall be very glad to take them on board (if you'll pardon the bad pun!)
